Other Weird Stuff
I go hiking with my dog Maxi. I see things that call to me -- things with colors, shapes or textures that cause me to linger. When possible, I bring those things home: bleached bones, dried seed pods, seaweed, tree galls, pitted stones, small branches colonized by myriad lichens. I pile them onto my workbench and wait for them to tell me what they want to be in their next life.
